By installing or using ShipFence (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and discontinue use.
ShipFence is a Shopify app that helps merchants enforce shipping restrictions on regulated products. The App blocks checkout for orders that violate merchant-configured rules based on US state codes and ZIP codes.
ShipFence is a tool — it does not provide legal advice. Merchants are solely responsible for ensuring their restriction rules are accurate, current, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
While ShipFence includes industry templates based on publicly available regulatory information, these templates are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that any template is complete, current, or legally sufficient. Regulations change frequently. You should consult with a qualified attorney to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
ShipFence offers free and paid plans through Shopify's billing system. Charges are processed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
ShipFence is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will prevent all non-compliant shipments.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipFence and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to the data practices described therein.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify merchants of material changes via the Shopify admin dashboard.
